What’s Save4Good?

Save4Good is a free service that’s helping Port Kembla people take control of their expenses and thrive. With expert sustainability coaches, personalised cost-saving plans, special discounts on sustainable goods and services and Save4Good kits for homes and small business, we’re greening our community one street at a time.

Who is behind Save4Good?

Save4Good is delivered by local experts All Sustainable Futures (ASF), a not-for-profit organisation. The program is sponsored by the NSW Department of Planning, Industry & Environment as part of the Port Kembla Community Investment Fund.

How does Save4Good work?

Save4Good’s independent coaches go into the community to help people cut their expenses and live more sustainably. The first step is a free coaching consultation where they work directly with you to create a cost-saving plan that suits your household or business.

What’s a Save4Good coach?

A Save4Good coach is an honest and hands-on independent adviser who’s completely on your side. In your free session, your coach will empower you to cut your bills down to size by making small changes that add up to big savings. Additionally, your coach will make recommendations on your appliances or other goods that may help you save even further.

Is it really free?

Yes. Save4Good coaches are completely independent and impartial. They work for you and the planet. And they’re not selling anything. In fact, the NSW government is paying them to help you save, so there are no hidden costs in their advice.

What’s a Save4Good coaching session like?

Your coach will analyse your energy and water bills, look at your appliances and ask a few simple questions. In a jiffy, they’ll show you how to get a better deal on utilities, plus recommend other ways to save.

Do you come to my home?

Yes we do.  We need to look at your bills and look at your appliances so we can make personalised recommendations for your home or business.

How long does a
coaching session take?

At your home it takes about 45 minutes.
